Trip Highlights
Day 1 – Depart Canada
Fly overnight to Rome, Italy! Sit back, relax, and get ready for an incredible week exploring some of Italy’s most iconic cities.
Day 2 – Welcome to Rome
Arrive in Rome and settle into your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to begin exploring the Eternal City at your own pace. Wander the streets, find your first authentic Italian meal, and soak up the atmosphere before meeting your Tour Director and fellow travellers.
Day 3 – Rome
Discover the highlights of Rome with a local guide, beginning at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City. Travel past the Tiber River, Caius Cestius Pyramid, Aurelian Walls and Caracalla Baths before walking from Circus Maximus to the Arch of Constantine and the legendary Colosseum. The remainder of the day offers time to explore Rome or take part in an optional excursion ($).
Day 4 – Rome to Florence via Pisa
Journey into beautiful Tuscany, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves and charming villages. Stop in Pisa and take the mini-train to the Square of Miracles to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa before continuing to Florence, the “Cradle of the Renaissance.” An optional Tuscan culinary experience may be available in the evening ($).
Day 5 – Florence
Spend the day discovering magnificent Florence! Enjoy a guided walking tour featuring Piazza Santa Croce, Signoria Square, Palazzo Vecchio, Loggia dei Lanzi, the spectacular Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower, and see the Baptistery’s famous bronze “Gate of Paradise.” Enjoy free time afterward to shop, eat and explore this incredible Renaissance city.
Day 6 – Florence to Venice via Verona
Travel north to romantic Verona, the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. See the ancient Roman Arena, browse the shops along Via Mazzini, and wander the city’s beautiful cobblestone streets. Continue to the Venice area for the evening with time to explore.
Day 7 – Venice
Experience the magic of Venice! Take an included boat ride to St. Mark’s Square and visit a traditional Venetian glassblowing workshop. Spend the rest of the day exploring Venice’s winding alleyways, canals, bridges, piazzas and cafés at your own pace. Group dinner is included this evening.
Day 8 – Return to Canada
Enjoy breakfast before beginning your journey home to Canada — with plenty of photos, memories and a little piece of Italy in your heart!
Flight Info
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For our international travel trips we arrange group flights in order to secure the best price. With group bookings you are unable to pick your exact seat on the plane. We are usually placed as a group near the rear of the plane and you will not be able to select your preference of window, middle or aisle seat. There is also a chance you may not be seated next to your travel partner. We try to make adjustments amongst our group to accommodate preference, but this cannot be gauranteed. Please keep that in mind when booking this trip.
Depart Toronto – April 10th 2027
Air Canada flight departs Toronto at 7:45pm. Overnight transatlantic flight. Arrives in Rome at 10:20am.
Depart Venice – April 17 2027
Home flight departs Venice at 6:55am. Arrives in Brussels at 8:40am. Small layover.
The Depart Brussels at 9:55am, arriving in Toronto at 11:50am.
