Whether you’re just beginning your first book, halfway through your manuscript, or polishing your latest novel, The Write Escape – Writer’s Weekend is designed to help you reconnect with your voice, find your focus, and make tangible progress — surrounded by other creative souls who “get it.” This weekend blends guided workshops, dedicated writing sessions, and creative exploration, all set in a serene, nature-filled setting perfect for reflection and storytelling.  Come reignite your passion for writing, overcome writer’s block, gain practical tools, receive feedback and guidance and connect with a community of women writers.

Registration Costs

The Write Escape Weekend registration cost is $350 + HST

Here’s the breakdown and what is Included:

* 6 meals & snacks (Friday dinner thru Sunday Lunch)

* 2 nights cabin accommodations 

* 4 guided writing workshops led by industry professionals (see sample workshops listed below)

* Quiet writing blocks and reflection time

* Group sharing circles and creative exercises

*Optional feedback or 1:1 coaching sessions

* Evening group activities & campfires

Whether you’re outlining your first book, refining your manuscript, or rediscovering your love of storytelling, each session offers a blend of inspiration, structure, and creative freedom.

💫 Workshop 1: Reconnecting with Your Writer Within

Start your weekend by quieting the noise and rediscovering your authentic writing voice. Through guided journaling, visualization, and creative prompts, you’ll learn to release perfectionism, silence self-doubt, and tap into the deeper “why” behind your words.

🪶 Workshop 2: From Idea to Outline

Learn how to take a spark of inspiration and shape it into something structured and achievable. This session will guide you through character development, conflict arcs, pacing, and how to outline your story without losing its magic.
