The Resort
Riu Reggae is a new, all-inclusive, adults only resort located right in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It features 3 infinity pools, swim up bars, 6 specialty restaurants, a gorgeous beach and 4 diverse bars. We recommend watching the sunset on the terrace of the “Roots” bar!
Each standard double resort room features clean, comfortable beds (2 double beds or 1 king), dressers and storage areas, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a programmable safe and a fully stocked mini bar with beverage dispensers that are restocked regularly. Each resort room also includes a balcony with chairs and towel racks to help dry out your beach wear. The bathroom features dual sinks, a glass shower with adjustable shower head, hairdryer and fresh towels daily.

Food & Drink
You’ll never go hungry at the Riu Reggae! This resort features 5 different themed restaurants plus an incredible buffet. Each night we will meet for dinner at a different themed restaurant within the resort.
There is something for everyone and the breakfast and lunch buffets have endless options, so you are never eating the same thing twice! These feature hot and cold buffet options, live cooking stations, assorted pizza, pastas, salads and a full dessert bar.
With over 4 cocktail bars throughout the the resort, drinks are never far away either. They feature unlimited local and imported beverages 24 hrs a day, premium branded drinks throughout the hotel and they can custom make any drink your heart desires!
Excursions
On one afternoon of the trip, we have organized a private Catamaran tour and we will be taking a luxurious cruise navigating Crystal Cove, where you’ll be able to practice snorkeling or simply relaxing and swimming in the tranquil and crystalline waters. Continue the journey and enjoy delicious drinks that you’ll be offered aboard while you admire the impressive landscape until you get to the next famous stop, Dunn’s River Falls, one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the Caribbean. Upon arrival at Dunn’s River, you will be amazed by the incredible rock formations carved by the water flow and the passage of time. Choose between climbing the mountain by the waterfall with a total length of 660 ft, walking its small stepped sections, or simply relaxing on its terraces of crystal-clear waters. Whatever your choice, it will be a great opportunity to discover the incredible biodiversity of this tropical island. Coming back to the catamaran, the real party will start! Enjoy the reggae music and typical drinks at the open bar that the fabulous and animated crew offers.
On an evening of the trip, we will head to the glowing waters of Luminous Lagoon, the largest of only four bioluminescent lagoons in the world! Surrounded by mangroves, this rare lagoon is home to millions of microscopic organisms that glow when the water is disturbed, giving the lagoon its mystical look. Swim through the glowing lagoon and watch as the waters light up around you before heading to shore for a performance by professional limbo dancers and fire-blowers. Enjoy a complimentary beverage and some delicious Jamaican sweets as you listen to the relaxing sounds of reggae music.
We have arrange 2 wonderful group excursions to choose from! One excursion is included in your package price. Can’t decide and want to do them both? No problem! Add on the second excursion for just $100 pp.
Workshops & Activities
While your vacation is certainly yours to do with what you want, we have added in some fun programs, workshops and parties exclusively available to RMR guests for you to join at anytime to make the most of your week away!
Every morning we will offer activities to start your day! Maybe you want to try a hot new fitness trend before you hit the beach or take part in a mindful meditation. Perhaps a little friendly competition will get your blood pumping in our sandcastle building contest, or you’ll create a masterpiece in our guided art workshop. If reflection is more your thing, breathe and relax during a sunrise yoga session on the beach or reflect and make goals for the future in our guided journaling workshop. Whatever you fancy, mornings are a great time to reconnect with the group and chat about your previous day.
Each afternoon around 3pm we will have optional activities like you can attend if you need a break from the sun, like a resort wide Scavenger Hunt (winnner gets some spending cash!), Dance Lessons, Jewelry Making, Mixology Classes, Intro to Spanish, or ramp it up and set your thrill metre to high as you cheer each other on during our Water Games!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Evenings at our Tropical Girls Getaway are filled with entertainment and dancing! After dinner each night we will either be checking out the giant stage shows often featuring Magicians, Acrobats, or renditions of Broadway Musicals or jumping into the themed dance parties hosted by the resort!
