Rustic Mama Retreats began in 2017 as a small idea that quickly blossomed into a full scale venture. We are a rapidly growing business that continues to be the forerunner in Women’s Retreats by providing an unforgettable experience year round through creative, educational and experiential programming. The retreats currently operate out of several camp locations across Ontario.

Current Openings

Program Facilitator (Part-Time/Casual)

Program Facilitators work as part of a team to plan and facilitate exciting creative, experiential, educational and recreational based programming for guests. Versatile by nature, each Program Facilitator serves as a front line customer service ambassador prepared to take on a variety of tasks to ensure a positive and unforgettable experience is had by all guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with unloading and set-up at all locations prior to the event
  • Greeting and administering arrival packages to guests at check-in
  • Leading up to three, 90 minute workshops per day
  • Preparing all program areas for use and ensuring areas are tidy after conclusion
  • Assisting with dining area support and tuck shop operations
  • Assisting with overnight guest support as needed
  • Providing serving or bar tending duties
  • Assisting with Housekeeping or Maintenance as required
  • Ensuring guests experience a high level of passion and professionalism
  • Assisting with pack-up and tear down at all locations
  • Supporting the design and development of new program ideas for Rustic Mama Retreats
  • Attending Trade Shows in order to generate new leads and promote the organization
  • Other duties as prescribed by the Executive Director, which may be amended from time to time

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, education or leadership roles
  • Enjoy working with adults and children and in an outdoor setting
  • Have experience working with and leading large groups
  • Outgoing personality and positive attitude towards challenges and opportunities
  • Highly self-motivated, punctual and be able to work well unsupervised
  • Have enthusiasm, integrity, sense of humour, patience and self-control
  • Be able to multi-task and work well as part of a team
  • Be customer driven with a strong focus on quality of service
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be willing and able to travel for events and trade shows

Additional Qualifications: (Candidates should have or be willing to acquire)

  • Valid Class G Driver’s License
  • Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Smart Serve
  • Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

** Preference will be given to those candidates who are capable of running craft type workshops and/or are certified fitness instructors **
