Registration Costs
White Water Canoeing Weekend registration cost is $425 + HST
Here’s the breakdown and what’s Included:
* 6 delicious camp-prepared meals and a variety of snacks throughout the day. You definitely won’t go hungry!
* 2 nights shared accommodations in cozy cabins
* Friday Evening Flatwater Training and Canoeing Fun at Camp
* Saturday All-Day White Water Canoeing Adventure in Palmer Rapids (transportation arranged)
* Sunday Morning Adventure Activities at Camp (archery, high ropes, hiking etc)
* Evening Bonfires and Bevvies
Location
Your White Water Canoeing Adventure will take place in Palmer Rapids, Ontario on the Little Mississippi River. Training and land activities, along with your meals and overnight accommodations will happen at Camp Cedar Ridge. It’s located near McArthur’s Mills ON, just outside of Bancroft. This site features fabulous activities including a vertical challenge course, high ropes, archery, trail hikes and much more! Transportation to and from Palmer Rapids will be arranged.
Mouth-Watering Food
The camps very own cooks will provide amazing, nutritious and delicious meals throughout the weekend with both healthy and indulgent options! Meals will include incredible homemade baked goods, vegetarian options and a delicious salad bar.
Please be sure to inform us of any food allergies/intolerances or health issues you feel we should be aware of well before arriving at camp. Our incredible chef and his staff can satisfy all special dietary needs, as long as we know in advance.
What To Pack
Typical weather in early October can be somewhat unpredictable. A full detailed packing list will be sent to you prior to arrival. Wet suits can also be rented from the paddling co-op before the adventure begins.
How To Get There
Cedar Ridge Camp is located near Bancroft, Ontario. Palmer Rapids is approximately 20 minutes from the site.
