Fully equipped with everything you need — from mixers and measuring cups to ovens ready for trays of cookies and loaves of bread — it’s a baker’s haven where creativity comes to life. Spacious counters invite teamwork and collaboration, while cozy dining areas nearby make every tasting feel like gathering around a family table.

Baking Skill Based Workshops
The Whisked Away Baking Retreat is a hands-on culinary experience designed for bakers of all skill levels who want to learn, create, and indulge. Over the weekend, you’ll roll up your sleeves in our fully equipped teaching kitchen and explore a delicious variety of baking techniques — from classic comfort bakes to show-stopping desserts.
Each session focuses on practical, easy-to-master skills that will boost your confidence and creativity in the kitchen. You’ll bake, taste, and take home new recipes (and maybe a few sweet souvenirs!) while enjoying laughter, learning, and the joy of good company.
🍰 Cake Baking & Decorating
Learn how to elevate a simple cake mix into something spectacular! You’ll discover quick hacks for enhancing texture and flavour, whip up smooth buttercream, and practice basic decorating techniques to create beautiful, professional-looking cakes.
🥖 Sourdough & Discard Recipes
Explore the world of sourdough from starter to slice. You’ll bake fresh loaves in multiple flavour variations — from herbed Italian to cinnamon raisin — and experiment with creative discard recipes like sandwich bread, pancakes, cookie bars, and more.
🧀 Breads & Savoury Bakes
Master cheese twists, focaccia, and English muffins, learning how to handle dough, proof properly, and achieve perfect texture and flavour in every bite.
🍪 Cookies & Cravings
From royal icing sugar cookies to soft, decadent stuffed “Crumbl-style” cookies, this session will teach you how to craft base doughs, flavour variations, fillings, and frostings to create endless cookie combinations.
🥐 Quick Breads & Pastries
Perfect your biscuits, quiche crusts, pizza dough, pretzels, and crackers in this versatile workshop. Learn how to knead, shape, and bake your way to golden, flaky perfection — ideal for both sweet and savoury creations.
🧁 Muffins & Morning Bakes
Start your mornings right with Cheddar & Spinach, Morning Glory, Zucchini-Carrot, and other wholesome muffins. Learn how to balance moisture, flavour, and texture for foolproof results every time.
🥧 Hand Pies & Mini Tarts
Bring your weekend to a delicious close with Curry Chicken Hand Pies and Parsley Pesto Mini Tarts — learning to work with puff and shortcrust pastry, fill savoury pockets, and bake elegant, bite-sized treats.
