The Resort
Platinum Yucatan Princess All Suites is an Adults Only Resort located in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, a short 30 minute transfer ride from the Cancun airport. (Transfer included) It features a sprawling, gorgeous beach, 12 swimming pools (some complete with swim-up bars), 6 themed restaurants, an award-winning spa, fantastic night club and countless cocktail lounges. If fitness is your thing, the resort offers many volleyball courts, a fitness studio, water activities and even introductory scuba lessons.
Each standard double resort room features clean, comfortable beds, dressers and storage areas, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a programmable safe and a fully stocked mini bar. Each resort room also includes a balcony with chairs and towel racks to help dry out your beach wear. The bathroom features dual sinks, a glass shower with adjustable shower head, hairdryer and fresh towels daily. Rooms can upgraded to swim out suites for an additional cost.
Food & Drink
You’ll never go hungry at the Yucatan Princess! This resort features 6 different themed restaurants as well as an all day buffet. Restaurants include Italian, Tex mex, Japanese and International cuisine. They also have 24 hour room services or visit one of the restaurants at the 2 neighboring properties for additional variety.
There is something for everyone and the breakfast and lunch buffets have endless options, so you are never eating the same thing twice! These feature hot and cold buffet options, live cooking stations, assorted pizza, pastas, salads and a full dessert bar.
With over 8 cocktail bars throughout the resort, drinks are never far away either. They feature unlimited local and imported beverages 24 hrs a day, premium branded drinks throughout the hotel and they can custom make any drink your heart desires!
Excursions* – subject to change
On one day of our trip we will travel just outside Playa del Carmen and drive 2 person buggies through the Yucatan jungle on a Jungle Buggie Adventure Tour! Suit up with everything you need for the off-road adventure, including goggles and a bandana, and begin the drive into the jungle. Listen to the sounds of nature and revving engines as you tackle the jungle terrain, and arrive at a local ranch for a snack and swim break. Jump into the cool cenote, grabbing snorkel gear to see beneath the surface, and then dry off for the trip back out of the jungle.
On another day of the trip, we have organized a private Catamaran tour and we will be taking a luxurious cruise over to Isla Mujeres! Grab a drink and soak in beautiful views of the white-sand beaches, lush jungles and turquoise waters while we lounge on the deck of a luxury catamaran. Discover the amazing bio-diversity of the waters around Cancun as we snorkel through coral reefs that are home to tropical fish, crustaceans and even sea turtles! Then you’ll have some time to explore the island, do some shopping and visit the pristine beach before we hop back on board and dance on the deck with a refreshing drink on our way back to the resort.
Workshops & Activities
While your vacation is certainly yours to do with what you want, we have added in some fun programs, workshops and parties exclusively available to RMR guests for you to join at anytime to make the most of your week away!
Every morning we will offer activities to start your day! Maybe you want to try a hot new fitness trend before you hit the beach or take part in a mindful meditation. Perhaps a little friendly competition will get your blood pumping in our sandcastle building contest, or you’ll create a masterpiece in our guided art workshop. If reflection is more your thing, breathe and relax during a sunrise yoga session on the beach or reflect and make goals for the future in our guided journaling workshop. Whatever you fancy, mornings are a great time to reconnect with the group and chat about your previous day.
Each afternoon around 3pm we will have optional activities like you can attend if you need a break from the sun, like a resort wide Scavenger Hunt (winnner gets a spa treatment!), Spanish Dance Lessons, Jewelry Making, Mixology Classes, Intro to Spanish, or take part in some friendly card competitions!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Evenings at our Tropical Girls Getaway are filled with entertainment and dancing! After dinner each night we will either be checking out the giant stage shows often featuring Magicians, Acrobats, or renditions of Broadway Musicals or jumping into the themed dance parties hosted by the resort!
