Parent & Child Retreats
Parent & Child (8+) Retreats
October 28-30, 2022 at Camp Kawartha in Peterborough
The Ultimate Parent and Child Getaway
In this hectic, busy world, sometimes as parents, we don’t get a chance to prioritize time with our children. Let’s be honest, with the hustle and bustle of life and Covid lockdowns over the past 2 years, there just hasn’t been a ton of activities for families to do together! That’s why this retreat was born! We only get 18 glorious years with them before they become adults themselves, so now is the time to connect, make those memories and have a blast doing it!
Rustic Mama Retreats Parent and Child Getaway is the perfect place for you to relax, refresh and reconnect with your kids. You’ll both have the chance to engage in a variety of amazing sessions together such as rock climbing, archery, outdoor survival skills, fitness classes, art workshops, sign making, cooking workshops and so much more. Everything is designed to be fun, exciting and allow you to relax and make those deeper connections.
This retreat is open to Moms, Dads, Step Parents, Foster Parents, Grandparents etc. and the children in their lives! The only requirement is that the children be aged 8+ so they can partake in the fun activities without restrictions!
Sessions and Workshops
There is something for everyone at our Parent and Child Retreat. The biggest problem you’ll have is choosing which session to sign up for! Fun, adventure, education, friendship and relaxation await you at our sweet escape!
Maybe you’ll spend the morning creating a masterpiece! Take a guided painting workshop, bake up a storm or try your hand at making a rustic wooden sign, paracord bracelets or some amazing DIY crafts.
Adventure more you and your child’s thing? Cheer each other on as you tackle a state of the art high-ropes course or touch the sky by scaling and rappelling the 30′ tall rock climbing wall! Take your aim in the archery field or push yourself to tackle some outdoor survival skills!
The fun doesn’t stop there! Evenings at Rustic Mama Retreats are filled with entertainment! From Friday night entertainers and games to an epic Saturday night party! We’ve got the perfect recipe for exciting evenings and we always have campfires and s’mores!
At Rustic Mama Retreats we strive to be affordable and accessible to families everywhere. We don’t want anyone to miss out on the fun! While some retreats offer programming of this kind for $800-$1200, we’ve worked hard to offer great value for a much lower cost!
