The Ultimate Mom and Daughter Getaway
In this hectic, busy world, sometimes as moms, we don’t get a chance to prioritize time with our Daughters. Ages 8-18 is when they need you the most! We only get 18 glorious years with them before they become adults themselves, so now is the time to connect, make those memories and have a blast doing it!
Rustic Mama Retreats Ultimate Mom and Daughter Getaway is the perfect place for you to relax, refresh and reconnect with your daughter and yourself. You’ll both have the chance to engage in a variety of amazing sessions together such as mom and me yoga, sign making and jewellery making workshops, paddle-boarding, archery, tree-top trekking, dance parties and the opportunity to partake in workshops taught by talented guest speakers on a variety of topics, all designed to be fun, exciting and allow you to relax and make those deeper connections.
Sessions and Workshops
There is something for everyone at our Mama and Me Retreat. The biggest problem you’ll have is choosing which session to sign up for! Fun, adventure, education, friendship and relaxation await you at our Mama and Daughter escapes!
Maybe you’ll spend the morning creating a masterpiece! Take a guided painting workshop, or try your hand at making a rustic wooden sign, hand-stamped jewellery or an authentic dream-catcher.
Adventure more you and your daughter’s thing? Breathe and relax during a yoga session, cheer each other on as you tackle a state of the art high-ropes course or touch the sky by scaling and rappelling the 30′ tall rock climbing wall! Take your aim in the archery field or push yourself to tackle the longest over-water zip line in Canada! Our winter retreat features snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snow tubing and even an ice rink!
The fun doesn’t stop there! Evenings at Rustic Mama Retreats are filled with entertainment! From Friday night entertainers and games to an epic Saturday night dance party! We’ve got the perfect recipe for exciting evenings!

Additional Daughters can be added for $150 + HST
Here’s the breakdown and what’s Included:
Retreat Fee: ($485 + HST)
* 2 nights shared accommodations for you and your daughter
* 6 delicious chef-prepared meals and a variety of snacks throughout the day. You definitely won’t go hungry!

All registered participants will be invoiced by Murdoch Travel – TICO #50023330 in accordance with the Ontario Travel Industry Act.
Our Winter Mama and Daughter Retreat (March 1-3) will be held at Camp Mini Yo We near Huntsville, Ontario. This camp has over 270 acres of property and features a private lake, island, natural rock face climbing wall, archery range, double zip-line, and a high ropes course. Its the perfect location for a Winter Retreat because they have a snow-tubing hill, cross-country skiing trails, ice skating rink, snowshoeing and so much more! Cabins here are fully winterized, recently built and contain in-floor heating, washroom facilities including showers and feature beautiful pine bunk beds. These cabins have large sleeping areas, 14 beds per section, so larger groups can easily be accommodated. Remember to bring your own linens!
May and October’s Mama and Daughter Retreat will be held at Camp Muskoka which is nestled in the lush Boreal forest of the Canadian shield and their 400 acres of property features 3 private lakes, an archery range, a paintball arena, a natural rock climbing wall, and an 18 element canopy aerial course through the trees ending in a zip-line over water. There are extensive hiking and mountain biking trails and over 40,000 square feet of newly renovated indoor space. Accommodations at Camp Muskoka include newly-renovated, winterized cabins with electricity and heat. All have full washrooms with sink, showers and toilets. Most cabins accommodate 12-24 people so be sure to let us know if you have any cabin mate requests or come with a large group of friends and have a cabin all to yourselves! Remember to bring your own pillow and sleeping bag, and a flashlight to navigate to your cabin at night.
June’s Mama and Daughter Retreat will be held at Camp White Pines Camp located just outside Haliburton, Ontario. Nestled on Hurricane Lake and divided into sections, this camp boasts spacious cabins and a plethora of program buildings. Yoga on the dock, pontoon boat rides, bungee jumping and double zip lines will keep your inner child jumping for joy all weekend. September’s Mama and Daughter will be held at Camp Kandalore. It’s located in the heart of the Algonquin Highlands, in between
Camp Muskoka’s very own chefs will provide amazing, nutritious and delicious meals throughout the weekend with both healthy and indulgent options! Meals will include incredible homemade baked goods, vegetarian options and a delicious salad bar.
Please be sure to inform us of any food allergies/intolerances or health issues you feel we should be aware of well before arriving at camp. Our incredible chef and his staff can satisfy all special dietary needs, as long as we know in advance.
Moms – Some wine will be available during the evenings but feel free to bring your own beverages for consumption in your cabin if you wish.
What To Pack
Typical weather in Spring and Fall can include cool nights and the odd sprinkle. Be sure to bring a warm jacket for night-time campfires as well as a raincoat and rubber boots in case the rain gets the better of us!
Heading to the Winter Retreat? Be sure to bring toasty boots, cozy mittens and a warm hat!
