Whether you’re brand new to horseback riding or have ridden before, experienced guides will match you with a gentle horse and lead the group along scenic trails.
As you ride, you’ll wind through forests and open paths, take in the quiet sounds of nature, and enjoy a truly relaxing outdoor experience. It’s the perfect chance to unplug, try something new, and enjoy a memorable adventure alongside other Rustic Mamas.

Registration Costs
Horseback Trail Ride cost is $125 + HST
Here’s the breakdown and what is Included:
* Guided Horseback Trail Ride through scenic tree-lined fields and forest, suitable for riders of all experience levels.
* Introductory Riding Demonstration to help you feel comfortable before heading out on the trail.
* Helmet Rental & Safety Equipment including covered safety stirrups for a secure ride.
* Experienced Trail Guides leading the ride and supporting riders along the way.
* Photos of Your Experience taken by ranch staff during the ride and emailed to you afterward
* Rustic Mama Host: A friendly, familiar face to welcome the group, coordinate the experience, and make sure everyone has a fantastic time.
The Experience
Step into the saddle and enjoy a relaxing guided horseback trail ride through beautiful tree-lined fields and forest trails. Whether you’re a first-time rider or have experience with horses, this ride is designed to be comfortable and enjoyable for all skill levels.
Before heading out, the ranch team will provide a short introductory demonstration to help you get familiar with your horse and the basics of riding. Once everyone is comfortable, your guides will lead the group out onto the trail for a peaceful walk (and occasional gentle jog) through the surrounding countryside.
Along the way, you’ll take in the quiet of nature, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy a truly memorable outdoor experience. Ranch staff will capture photos during the ride so you can stay present and enjoy the moment — the photos will be emailed to you afterward.
For safety and comfort, riders must be over the age of 10 and under 250 lbs. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for the ride.

Important Info
* Riders must be age 10 or older to participate.
* Maximum rider weight: 250 lbs for the safety and comfort of both riders and horses.
* All riders will receive a short safety briefing and introductory riding demonstration before heading out on the trail.
* Helmets are provided and required for all riders.
* For safety reasons, cell phones and cameras are not permitted on the trail. Ranch staff will take photos during the ride and email them to you afterward.
* Participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to riding. Waivers for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
* The ride takes place rain or shine, though severe weather may result in rescheduling for safety.
What to Wear
For the most comfortable ride, we recommend:
* Closed-toe shoes (running shoes or boots — no sandals)
* Jeans or long pants to protect your legs while riding
* Weather-appropriate clothing depending on the season
* Bug spray and sunscreen if needed
Comfort and practicality are key — dress for the weather and be ready to enjoy time outdoors on the trail.
Timing
Our exact Horseback Trail Ride times will depend on how many people are interested. Groups will be staggered 90 minute apart, likely starting around 12pm.
